Meters Catching Fire? What about
hackers being able to access the power grid via these things. I'd be more interested in understanding what security measures are in place to prevent that from happening. It might be cheaper for utility companies to use these devices but they use wireless technology to read the meters. That creates an access point for bad actors to try and access.
Smart Meters. Anything to legislate control over the citizens, O'Malley and his accomplises will do. Liberals do not care about the first amendment. Citizen's rights be damned, what can we do to improve our situation?
