WASHINGTON - D.C. Police will start sending out tickets Monday to drivers who speed past four new fixed speed cameras.

After sending warnings for a month, the grace period is over.

Speeders will see fines up to $200, based on how far above the limit they're clocked.

The new speed cameras are posted in Northwest and Northeast.

Cameras in Northwest are located in the 4,700 block of MacArthur Boulevard and the 5,400 block of 16th Street.

In Northeast, the cameras are in the 2,800 block of Benning Road and the 100 block of Michigan Avenue.

Before now there was just one other fixed speed camera. It's located in the 600 block of Florida Avenue, NE.

Eight other mobile camera units are rotated through the city.
