Showers and thunderstorms will dot radar overnight thanks to a stationary front across the mid-Atlantic. Lows will fall to the middle 60s and lower 70s. Over the next couple of days, the front will slowly be pushed south of our area in response to high pressure building over coastal New England. Highs Friday will be in the middle 80s. Complicating the forecast is the fact that winds will become easterly, off the Atlantic Ocean for the upcoming weekend.

Showers will continue to be a possibility Saturday with highs only in the upper 70s. Sunday will feature a bit more sunshine.
