WASHINGTON – The Nationals’ rookies are still feeling the Olympic hangover even if none of them went to London this summer.

Pitcher Gio Gonzalez tweeted some pictures Sunday of seven youngsters on the team wearing spandex leotards and gold medals and bearing the Olympic flag. Some, including phenom Bryce Harper, even accessorized a little.

The rookies seemed cheerful despite their loss to the Marlins with this light-hearted hazing. A five-game lead in the NL East standings may have helped, too.

Check out these pictures with Christian Garcia, Sandy Leon, Tyler Moore, Eury Perez and Jhonatan Solano.
