Another moped arrest for Iowa basketball player

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Iowa basketball player Peter Jok was arrested Monday night and charged with driving his moped on a revoked license.

This is the second moped-related arrest in three months for Jok, who will be a sophomore for the Hawkeyes this fall.

Jok was charged with drunken driving on his moped in April and his license was revoked. Online court record show he pleaded guilty May 2 and completed a weekend drunken driving program.

Police arrested Jok again Monday night after initially stopping him for improper rear lights and lack of a safety flag.

The 6-foot-6 shooting guard averaged 4.4 points last season.
