Interservice Saxophone Ensembles

Coordinated by assistant principal saxophone Gunnery Sgt. Steven Temme, this chamber music series concert will focus on the life of Adolphe Sax and feature saxophone ensembles from the Marine Band, Navy Band, Army Band, and Air Force Band. The ensembles join forces Sunday, November 23rd, 2pm, at the John Philip Sousa Band Hall, Marine Barracks Annex, 7th & K Streets, in South East Washington. Admission is free…no tickets required.

Founded in 1798, the United States Marine Band is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization. The mission of “The President’s Own” Marine Band is to perform for the President of the United States and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
