Man Arrested in Super Bowl Restaurant Shooting

February 5, 2008 - 6:53pm
LARGO, Md. - Prince George's County Police have arrested a man accused of killing three people at a Largo restaurant during a broadcast of the Super Bowl.

Police arrested 21-year-old Tron Johnson, of Landover, on Tuesday in connection with the shooting deaths of 22-year-old Terrance Lynne Sneed, 26-year-old Curtis Poston, and 25-year-old Charles Dontee Harrison.

The shooting happened about 9:15 p.m. Sunday at the Uno Chicago Grill at The Boulevard at the Capital Centre. Police do not know whether the argument had anything to do with the game.

Witnesses said the shooting occurred about the time the New York Giants scored a touchdown early in the fourth quarter.

Sneed, of Hyattsville, was pronounced dead at the scene. Poston, of Temple Hills, and Harrison, of Landover, were transported to local hospitals where they died a short time later.

Police say during the dispute, one of the suspects produced a handgun and shot Sneed and Poston while they were in the bar area. The suspect then chased Harrison outside and shot him in the parking lot. After the shooting, the suspects fled.
