Smartphones make Halloween costumes come alive (Video)

WASHINGTON – Smartphones are amazing gadgets. They help us pay bills, read the news, act as a level, search for constellations or create spreadsheets for work.

And now they can double as an interactive, creepy Halloween costume.

A costume company makes the “Digital Dudz” which include T-shirts that come with a velcro pocket to hide a digital device. Download an app and a creepy zombie face comes alive with eyes that shift back and forth on your phone’s screen.

Or drape a zippered pouch over your head and use your phone to display a beating heart, seen through a wound-shaped hole.
