Fans at CenturyLink Field jumped up and down, causing a 1- to 2-point magnitude earthquake, Seattle Times reports.
John Vidale, a professor at the University of Washington and the director of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, tells CNN five seismic events registered during the 34-7 game against the New Orleans Saints.
Seahawks fan are no strangers to making Earth shake. They did it in 2011 when Marshawn Lynch’s 67-yard touchdown clinched a 41-36 playoff victory over the Saints.
