‘Linsanity’ Linspires onLine musical followLin (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – Knicks fans are so “Linsane” about their newest point guard sensation Jeremy Lin that they’ve taken to the Internet to show their praise.

YouTube is now home to a vast series of musical numbers about the underrrecruited Harvard graduate, touching upon his strong evangelical Christian faith, work ethic and academic pedigree.

The first American-born player of Chinese or Taiwanese descent in the NBA has inspired others in the Asian community, while all fans dismiss critiques that luck, not Lin, is the reason behind the Knicks’ team’s seven-game streak.

The 23-year-old made headlines Tuesday night after hitting a buzzer-beating three-pointer to beat the Raptors. Lin’s exploits have extended beyond New York fans, catching the attention of the commander in chief.
