WASHINGTON – Two local schools are under lockdown following reports of a suspicious person in the area.
Forest Ridge Elementary and Laurel Woods Elementary in North Laurel were locked down just after 3:15 p.m.
Howard County police say a neighbor called police after seeing someone they thought might have a gun.
Police are searching the area.
