Tranquility Day Spa and Salon is raffling away three Ultimate Tranquility Baskets through Oct. 31 to raise money for disease research. Each raffle ticket costs $10 and 100 percent of the raffle money goes to the NBIA Disorders Association.
Tranquility baskets include one Tranquility gift card valued at $600 plus $600 worth of professional salon hair products and a complimentary hair party at your home.
Raffle tickets can be purchased at both Haymarket and Manassas salon locations, as well as at Quest Diagnostics in Chantilly, 14225 Newbrook Drive. One basket will be awarded to a winner at each location on Sat., Oct. 31.

Fourteen-year-old Brittany Leap of Haymarket suffers from Neurodegeneration Brain Iron Accumulation, a rare disease that affects mobility, speech and muscle coordination and currently has no cure. The NBIA research team in Oregon needs $250,000 for the NBIA research labs to stay open and local groups and businesses such as Tranquility have been helping to raise money.
