Police searching for missing Silver Spring girl

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Montgomery County Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Silver Spring teenager.

Fourteen-year-old Daquawn Thompson of the 3700 block of Bel Pre Road in Silver Spring was last seen on August 22 at her foster home. She is known to frequent Langley Park and areas of Landover and Oxon Hill.

Thompson is described as a black female, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds. She has brown eyes, short brown hair and a butterfly tattoo on her arm.

Anyone with any information on Thompson's whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division at (240) 773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000.
