It turns out Lolita Jones-Ramoutar went into labor while she was driving on the Hill Sept. 11 . Officer James Todd stayed with the woman, and calmed her until the ambulance arrived. She arrived at the hospital 7 minutes before her daughter Riana was born.
The Hill Newspaper reports Jones-Ramoutaris trying to contact the officer to thank him personally. She says the situation was particularly dire because she needed to be treated with antibiotics before Riana was born.
