Man stabbed at Union Station

WASHINGTON - Amtrak Police say a man has been stabbed Monday night at Union Station.

The incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. A spokesperson for Amtrak Police says the stabbing occurred inside the station.

The male victim was taken to Washington Hospital Center with serious life-threatening injuries.

Amtrak Police officials say a woman was arrested and transferred into the custody of Metropolitan Police.

Amtrak says service will not be affected due to the incident.
