The Original Classic International Gem and Jewelry Show Special Charity Exhibit

The “Original” Classic International Gem & Jewelry Show, Inc. will host a special fine jewelry exhibition and sale at the historic Washington, D.C. Marriott Wardman Park on September 27th and 28th. This luxury gala will offer guests the opportunity to purchase exquisite fine jewelry directly from top award winning designers and manufacturers from the USA and around the world. The gala will also feature collectables; one of a kind jewelry memorabilia from Elizabeth Taylor, Maria Callas, Liberace, Marilyn Monroe, The Duke of Windsor and other well-known names from Hollywood and History. Jewelry show entrepreneurs, Arnold and Roxane Duke will donate all admission proceeds to Tigerlily Foundation as October begins Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Tigerlily Foundation was founded by Maimah Karmo, after she was diagnosed with breast cancer at 32 years old.

Maimah is committed to educating young women around the world about breast cancer; and empowering them to be their own best advocates. She is dedicated to changing the young adult breast cancer landscape and seeks to impact the quality of care and lifestyle for young women affected by this disease.

She chose to name the organization Tigerlily because like a flower loses its petals in the Fall and Winter, then blossoms and grows in the Spring and Summer, a woman undergoing treatment can also find her true beauty, strength and be transformed during and after breast cancer,
