Second suspect charged in UMd. robbery — police say case closed

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – A suspect has been arrested and another charged in an armed robbery on the University of Maryland College Park campus.

University of Maryland police detectives — working with D.C. and George Washington University police — identified Isaiah Graham, 21, of Riverdale, Md., as a suspect. Graham was already in custody of the D.C. Jail for robbery charges in an unrelated incident.

He faces charges including armed robbery and assault and is being held without bond.

Police have also charged a second suspect, identified as Dominic Alonzo Amos, 21. Police are still looking for Amos, who is described as a black male, 6 feet tall with a medium build and wearing dark clothing.

Amos has been charged with armed robbery and assault.

The victim told police that he was approached by two men who demanded property from him and threatened him with a knife late Thursday night near Cecil Hall. The victim handed over the property, and the two men left. The victim was not harmed.

University police say they have closed the case.
