Kanye West, Pharrell on for ‘Made in America’ fest

NEW YORK (AP) — Jay Z has called close friend Kanye West to headline his “Budweiser Made in America” festival in Philadelphia.

Kings of Leon, Pharrell and Tiesto also will play the two-day event over Labor Day weekend on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Jay Z will expand the festival with performances also in Los Angeles for the first time since its launch in 2012. John Mayer, Imagine Dragons, Juanes, Kendrick Lamar, Afrojack and Weezer will perform in Grand Park in Los Angeles.

Other artists to take the stage in Philadelphia include the National, De La Soul, Steve Aoki, J. Cole, Girl Talk and Awolnation.

Beyonce and Nine Inch Nails were the headliners last year.
