Film co-written by Dominion CEO opens Friday

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A Civil War film co-written and co-produced by Dominion Resources Inc. CEO Tom Farrell is getting a wider debut this week.

“Field of Lost Shoes” is being released in 30 cities on Friday, including Richmond, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Roanoke, Lexington and Staunton.

The PG-13 movie tells the story of Virginia Military Institute cadets caught up in the Civil War, and the fatal charge of their corps at the Battle of New Market in May 1864.

It was filmed at VMI in Lexington, the state Capitol, a Powhatan farm and a plantation on the James River. The cast includes such actors as Virginia-born David Arquette, Tom Skerritt and Jason Isaacs.

Richmond- based energy provider Dominion Resources is the parent company of Dominion Virginia Power, which has about 2.3 million customers in Virginia.
