Hidden Cash’s Fourth of July giveaway: ice cream

NEW YORK (AP) — The movement that’s giving away cash around the world is giving away ice cream to celebrate America’s birthday.

Hidden Cash founder Jason Buzi says they’ve partnered with Ben & Jerry’s to give out free scoops Friday in New York, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco.

The event runs from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Ben & Jerry’s locations in New York’s Times Square, Georgetown in Washington, D.C. and Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco.

Buzi says they decided giving away ice cream would be a “kid friendly” way to mark the Fourth of July.

The real estate investor says it gives them a chance to “mix it up” from their usual mission: hiding cash in hopes the people who find it will use it to better their lives or help others.
