Michaele Salahi is back as a Journey video girl

WASHINGTON – Michaele Salahi isn’t finished with musical appearances just yet.

The reality TV personality and White House gate-crasher is the video girl in a new song by ’80s rock band Journey, which since 2007 has been led by Filipino frontman Arnel Pineda.

“Resonate” features lead guitar licks from axe-man Neal Schon, who has been dating Salahi publicly since she left her husband, Tareq, last fall. She was originally presumed missing after leaving for Oregon.

The song features lyrical comparisons between the physics of music and presumably Salahi and Schon’s relationship, such as “You bow the strings that move my heart,” and “We share the same desire. Like a telegraph that leads straight to your heart.”

In the video, Salahi walks on a beach looking out to sea until she is reunited with her lover at the end.

This isn’t Salahi’s first stab at the music scene. Last summer, she unveiled her dance number “Bump It” on a Miami NBC affiliate. Click here to relive that performance.
