Police Investigating Armed Carjacking In Bethesda Neighborhood

Montgomery County police carMontgomery County Police are looking for who’s behind an armed carjacking on Wednesday in a Bethesda neighborhood.

Police tweeted out the news of the carjacking on Wednesday night. It happened in the 7800 block of Hampden Lane, not far from the intersection of Wilson Lane and Bradley Boulevard in a neighborhood of single family homes.

Police also said the red Volvo SUV stolen in the carjacking (with Maryland tags 1AE3792) was last seen around 7 p.m. at 14th Street and Primrose Road in D.C., near the District border with Silver Spring.

Police asked anyone who sees the vehicle to call 911.
