The Farm Women’s Market adds Food Trucks and international cuisine to its Frday Outdoor Market. Local favorites Corned Beef King, Hardy’s BBQ, Holy Crepes, Great American Hot Dogs and Go Fish Seafood line the Market parking lot across from Panera. Included in the mix are Kiwi Kuisine (Savory Meat Pies), El Tenedor De Nacho (Empanadas), Borek G (Turkish cuisine) and India Garden (Curry and Samosas) among others. After lunch, cool down with Yeti’s Shaved Ice and DT Sugarcane’s Iced Coffee. Music provided by American Idol participant, Luke Shaffer. Every Friday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. til’ November 28.

The show features innovative glass art and jewelry that reflect the diverse visions and voices of Glen Echo artists. Come visit, explore, and enjoy work that ranges from sculptures to wall hangings, and vessels to jewelry using contemporary kiln-forming, casting and lampworking techniques.
