Candidates Make Final Pitches In Bethesda – Gubernatorial candidates Doug Gansler and Heather Mizeur both greeted potential voters Friday morning at the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro station. Village Survey For Bethesda Seniors – Bethesda Metro Area Village, a nonprofit being set up to help seniors aging in place, has put out a survey to figure out what services to provide. A Senior Village concept typically enlists volunteers to help older residents get to social and cultural programming and provide home maintenance. This Metro Area Village will encompass neighborhoods around Bradley Boulevard, Huntington Parkway, Hampden Lane, Old Georgetown Road, Woodmont Avenue and Arlington Road. [Bethesda Metro Area Village]
