Weekly Crime Report: June 2 to June 10

Police reported a number of burglaries in the most recent 2nd District crime summary, including one with a suspect reported to be in his 50s:

A residential burglary occurred in the 6700 block of Tusculum Road in Bethesda on Thursday, 6/5 at 9:00 a.m. Unknown entry; unknown what was taken.

Suspect: W/F, 40s, 5’2″-5’4″; W/M, 50s, 5’6″-5’8″

A commercial burglary occurred at Rice Paddies Grill, 4706 Bethesda Avenue in Bethesda overnight between Thursday, 6/5 and Friday, 6/6. Unknown entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9900 block of Hurst Street in Bethesda on Tuesday, 6/3 between 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

An attempted commercial burglary occurred at Bank of America, 5135 River Road in Bethesda on the morning of Tuesday, 6/10. Forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary occurred on Friday, 6/6 between 3:00 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. in the 5300 block of Westbard Avenue in Bethesda. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 4800 block of Chevy Chase Boulevard in Chevy Chase on Saturday, 6/7 between noon and 12:10 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 7800 block of Hampden Lane in Bethesda on Wednesday, 6/4 between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 6300 block of Landon Lane in Bethesda on Friday, 6/6 between 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 6700 block of Arroyo Court in Rockville on Wednesday, 6/4 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A theft occurred in the 7100 block of Democracy Boulevard in Bethesda sometime between Sunday, 6/8 and Monday, 6/9. Entry was forced into a construction bin and property was taken
