State Agency Subpoenas Board of Education Financial Records – After weeks of controversy over how members of the Board of Education use their county-issued credit cards, Maryland’s Office of the State Prosecutor launched an investigation last week. State prosecutor Emmet Davis sent a two-page subpoena to the Board of Education for its financial records, a request a MCPS spokesperson said the school system had fulfilled by Tuesday. [ABC7]
