(Update at 1 p.m.) Another vehicle is trapped in high standing water on Wednesday afternoon in Bethesda.
According to MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer, a vehicle is trapped in water on Bradley Boulevard and Woodhaven Drive, one of a handful of car in water calls the department is responding to on Wednesday. There’s also an apparent vehicle in water on Bradley Boulevard at Fallen Oak Drive.
This vehicle you see above got trapped by high standing water on Democracy Boulevard near Fernwood Road at around 12:45 p.m.
It’s a good example of why to avoid the flooding happening on a number of area roads.
MCFRS units are responding to the scene now and report no one is in the vehicle.
Traffic is continuing to pass the area in the far left lane. County Police are on the way to the scene to control traffic.
