I-270 near the Beltway split, via TrafficLand.comA two-vehicle collision on southbound I-270 near Old Georgetown Road has lanes blocked on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just before 9:30 a.m. and initially closed all lanes of southbound I-270.

Vehicles can reportedly now pass on the right side, those backups remain in the area.

MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer said there was an auto fire at the scene, which is why some lanes are still blocked.
