Upcounty Looking For More Representation This Primary – The downcounty area of Montgomery County has historically dominated in political races for the County Council’s four at-large seats. Three of the four current at-large members live in Takoma Park and the fourth lives in Garrett Park. Big Train Charity Softball Event Adds Dixon – The Bethesda Big Train Celebrity Softball Classic, set for Saturday, April 12 at Shirley Povich Field (10600 Westlake Dr.), will feature former Maryland basketball star Juan Dixon, Washington Redskins linebacker Perry Riley Jr. and United States women’s soccer players Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris.
