Weather Chatter: Winter’s Last Gasp?

Snowfall projections from National Weather Service

The possibility of snow on Tuesday has folks talking, if only because it’s almost April.

The likelihood is we won’t receive much snow at all and the cold and windy conditions expected aren’t too out of the ordinary for this time of year:

National Weather Service: 0.9 inches.

Amelia Segal (NBC4): Dusting-2 inches. “Not a lot but timing from morning into the evening may cause delays.”

Terp Weather: “Cold today, light snow tomorrow, windy on Wednesday and then warming. In other words, March in the Mid-Atlantic.” Oh, and no chance of school cancelations.

Capital Weather Gang: “Snow could whiten the ground.” Periods of light snow likely during the day.

Weather.com: A high of 36 degrees with 100 percent chance of precipitation and 1-2 inches of snow.
