Weekly Crime Report: March 3 to March 11

A daytime assault in downtown Bethesda leads the most recent Bethesda-Chevy Chase area crime report:

An aggravated assault occurred in the 7400 block of Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda on Monday, 3/10 at approximately 3:00 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon, then fled.

Suspect: B/M, 5’6”/130 lbs., wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and hat

A residential burglary occurred in the 7700 block of Rocton Avenue in Chevy Chase between Thursday, 3/6 and Monday, 3/10. Forced entry; unknown what was taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at Harwood, 4915 St Elmo Avenue in Bethesda between Friday, 3/7 and Monday, 3/10. Forced entry; property taken.

An attempted vehicle theft occurred in the 11700 block of Parklawn Drive in North Bethesda between Thursday, 3/6 and Friday, 3/7.

A theft occurred in the 5000 block of Brookeway Drive in Bethesda at an unknown time on Friday, 3/7. Property was taken from outside the residence.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9300 block of Bells Mill Road in Bethesda on Wednesday, 3/5 between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.
