Police seek missing Silver Spring girl, 16

WASHINGTON — The police are looking for the public’s help finding a 16-year-old girl who has been missing since Feb. 1.

The Montgomery County police say that Verenice Soledad Cruz, of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, is Hispanic; 5 feet, 2 inches tall; and about 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and long, black hair and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans.

Police say Cruz is known to frequent the Aspen Hill Apartments.
