Make Meaning Coming Soon On Bethesda Avenue

Make Meaning, coming soon to 4809 Bethesda Ave.Make Meaning, the long awaited kids and family crafts store, is finally getting close to opening at Bethesda Row.

The New York City shop announced it was coming to the space at 4809 Bethesda Ave. all the way back in fall 2012. It had hoped to open in March 2013.

The build out inside the space finally started in January. A sign on the window says the store is coming soon.

The spot has been a popular one in New York, offering kids, teens and families the chance to make candles, cards, jewelries, painted mugs, plates and other crafts.

The store has an annual membership of $36 and a flat day rate of $12, in addition to any material fees.

Most of the Bethesda Avenue space will go on the second floor above the next-door Aveda salon and Paper Source stationery store. The ground-floor at 4809 Bethesda Ave. is a skinny space with a staircase and elevator.
