Westbard Redeveloper To Make Design Presentation — Equity One, the Florida-based company that hopes to redevelop Westbard, will present its “design principles” at a public meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Walt Whitman High School (7100 Whittier Blvd.). Equity One recently bought Westwood Towers, Springhouse by Manor Care, Bowlmor Lanes, two Citgo stations, Westwood Shopping Center and Westwood Center II. [Westbard Vision]

Citizens Advisory Board Meeting Monday — The Western Montgomery County Citizens Advisory Board will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center (4805 Edgemoor Lane). The meeting will include a visit from Councilmember Hans Riemer, WSSC representatives and a discussion of County Executive Isiah Leggett’s FY15 operating budget. [Ken Hartman via Twitter]

Lee Likely To Have Uncontested State Senate Campaign — Kyle Lierman, the well-financed 2010 House of Delegates candidate, won’t be running this year. Lierman was rumored to be thinking about a run to replace District 16 State Sen. Brian Frosh. With the campaign filing deadline Tuesday and no one on the horizon, it appears Del. Susan Lee will have a clear path toward replacing Frosh, who is running for attorney general. [Bethesda Magazine]

Dance Bethesda To Feature Area’s Best — Dance Bethesda, the annual dance concert organized by the Bethesda Urban Partnership, will return on March 8 at 8 p.m. at the Round House Theatre (4545 East-West Highway). The concert will feature seven local dance groups of a wide range of styles. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids under 12. The event also includes free open lessons on Friday, March 7 at dance studios around Bethesda. [Dance Bethesda]
