Weekly Crime Report: Jan. 27 to Feb. 4

An armed robbery at a Randolph Road 7-Eleven leads the most recent 2nd District crime summary:

An armed robbery occurred near the 7-11 at 5402 Randolph Road in North Bethesda on Monday,  1/28 at approximately 8:00 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspects: WH/M, 5’5”/140 lbs., early 20’s, goatee, wearing black; WH/M, 5’7”/180 lbs., early 30’s, wearing black 

A vehicle theft occurred in the 8800 block of Fairfax Road in Bethesda sometime between Sunday, 2/2 and Monday, 2/3. A key had been left inside the vehicle.

A residential burglary occurred in the 3900 block of Spruell Drive in Kensington on Sunday, 2/2 between 6:45 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 7400 block of Nevis Road in Bethesda on Monday, 2/3 between 1:25 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

Three thefts from vehicles occurred during overnight hours between Tuesday, 1/28 and Thursday, 1/30. Incidents occurred on Dorset Avenue, Wyandot Court, and Wellesley Court in Bethesda. Items taken included loose cash, glasses, and papers.

A residential burglary occurred in the 8700 block of Ewing Drive in Bethesda on Tuesday, 1/28 between 9:40 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A theft from vehicle occurred on Huntover Drive in North Bethesda on Monday, 1/27 just after 11:30 a.m. Vehicle was left unlocked; wallet taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 8400 block of Magruder Mill Court in Bethesda on Monday, 1/27 between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
