Bowling Alley, Bocce Court Coming To Pike & Rose — Pinstripes, a Chicago-based combination bowling alley, bocce court and restaurant, has signed a letter of intent with Federal Realty for the developer’s Pike & Rose project on Rockville Pike. [Washington Business Journal]

D-16 Candidate Dropping Out? — It seems House of Delegates candidate Kevin Walling will probably drop out of the race and instead pursue a Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee position. Ted Duncan, the real estate agent who formed a campaign committee, also won’t run. [Bethesda Magazine]

Glen Echo Pastor Wants To Flip Church Land For Development — Folks in Glen Echo aren’t happy with National Community Church paster Mark Batterson. Batterson’s church got the land of Vassar Circle for free from the Glen Echo Baptist Church in 2012. Now, Batterson is selling the land to a developer who plans four large homes. Tom Meeks, the former deacon of Glen Echo Baptist Church, supports Batterson’s quick real estate flip, saying, “It’s not NCC’s property. It’s God’s property. And NCC’s income is God’s income.” The Montgomery County Planning Board will have to approve any development plans. [Washington Post]

White Flint Development Updates Monday — The White Flint Implementation Committee will meet for its monthly get together on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Shriver Aquatic Center. The agenda includes development updates, a look at the various White Flint-related road projects proposed for the next capital budget and discussion of a new bill that would change road code standards.
