Montgomery County and Maryland State Police responded to Montgomery Mall tonight after a report of a man with a gun.
According to scanner reports, a man wearing camouflage pants and a sweatshirt was seen with what appeared to be a gun under his shirt.
Witnesses who talked to BethesdaNow.com said they didn’t see a gun, but heard that the man was making threats in the mall. They said a “SWAT team,” armed with assault rifles, arrested the man in front of the first floor Foot Locker store.
The incident comes three days after Saturday’s deadly mall shooting in Columbia, Md. No official word on the incident yet from police.
