Student singers, Santa and those big ice sculptures will be back in Woodmont Triangle in a few weeks.
The Bethesda Urban Partnership’s annual Winter Wonderland event is set for Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday Dec. 7, with a special Winter Concert on Dec. 6 before Santa and an ice sculpting demonstration hit Veterans Park the next day.
The concert will start at 8 p.m. at Imagination Stage (4908 Auburn Ave.) with the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Choir, the GW Troubadors (a co-ed a cappella group), Capital Blend and Vox Pop, two other local a cappella groups. Tickets, $10 for adults and $12 for children under 12, are available here.
On Saturday, the ice sculpting demonstration — chainsaws and ice picks included — will return from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a student concert and visit from Santa.
