Bethesda Farm Market To Continue Outside — The inside portion of the Bethesda Farm Women’s Market remains closed after a customer accidentally crashed into the back of the building. The Farm Market says most of its indoor vendors will sell outside on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays until the market is allowed to reopen, though the Market gave no indication of when that would be. NIH Tops List Of Best Employers For Workers Over 50 — The National Institutes of Health topped the AARP’s list of best employers for workers over 50, based on career development opportunities, workplace accommodations, flexible schedule, job sharing and other benefits. Smash and Grab Leader Gets 20 Years — Walter Douglas, the 34-year-old D.C. resident and ringleader of a smash-and-grab crew that hit 20 high-end shops around the area, got a 20-year jail sentence last week. The group robbed the Cartier store in Chevy Chase in April, a brazen midday robbery that included a police chase. Douglas and his co-defendants were ordered to pay $1.25 million in restitution.
