A Bethesda-based nonprofit will again collect extra Halloween candy on Saturday for shipment to U.S. soldiers overseas.
MoverMoms will be at Bethesda-Chevy Chase and Walt Whitman High Schools on Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., where you can drop off wrapped candy that will be packed into Christmas stockings and sent to troops.
The group will collect candy through Nov. 10 at the Bethesda Whole Foods Market (5629 River Rd.), Urban Country (7117 Arlington Rd.) and homes at 7101 Loch Lomond Dr., 5408 Huntington Pkwy., 8011 Whittier Blvd., 4900 Fort Sumner Dr.
