A commercial burglary occurred at Hinata Sushi Carryout, 4947 St Elmo Avenue in Bethesda overnight between Wednesday, 10/9 and Thursday, 10/10. Forced entry; property taken.
A commercial burglary occurred at Woman’s Boutique Consignment, 8118 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda sometime between the evening of Wednesday, 10/9 and the late morning of Thursday, 10/10. Unknown entry; property taken.

An attempted theft from vehicle occurred in the 6100 block of Connecticut Avenue in Kensington on Tuesday, 10/8 at approximately 1:45 p.m.
Arrested: Male, age 24, from Chevy Chase
An incident of theft occurred at Barnes & Noble, 4801 Bethesda Avenue in Bethesda on Thursday, 10/10 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Property was taken from the victim without their knowledge.
Six thefts from vehicles occurred in this beat during this reporting period. Incidents primarily occurred during overnight hours to vehicles left unsecured. Laptops, iPods, GPS units, and purses/wallets left inside vehicles were taken. Streets affected included: Cedarwood Drive, Ipswich Road, Kingswood Road, and Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda.
A theft occurred in the 6600 block of Broxburn Drive in Bethesda on Friday, 10/11 at approximately 2:10 p.m. Property was taken from outside the residence.
A residential burglary occurred in the 7100 block of Marbury Road in Bethesda overnight between Tuesday, 10/8 and Wednesday, 10/9. No forced entry; property taken.
A residential burglary occurred in the 6900 block of Granby Street in Bethesda between 2:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 10/9. No forced entry; property taken.
