Whitman Students Take ‘Mindfulness’ Classes — For 30 minutes once a week over an eight-week pilot program, students at Walt Whitman High School will be get “mindfulness,” training. County Says 10-Day China Trip Was A Success — A large delegation of county officials went to China last month to establish a sister city relationship and look for Chinese economic investment in the county. The total cost to the county for the trip was $7,500. Most people on the trip paid their own way. [Montgomery County]
