Weekly Crime Report: Sept. 9 to Sept. 17

The most recent Bethesda area crime report includes a number of residential burglaries and thefts from cars:

A residential burglary occurred in the 4600 block of Cheltenham Drive in Bethesda on Saturday, 9/14 at approximately 10:15 a.m. Unknown entry; nothing taken.

Arrested: Male, age 38, of no fixed address 

A residential burglary occurred in the 10400 block of Snow Point Drive in Bethesda on Monday, 9/9 between 9:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 5400 block of Grosvenor Lane in Bethesda on Wednesday, 9/11 at approximately 10:00 a.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

A theft occurred in the 5400 block of McGrath Boulevard in North Bethesda on Wednesday, 9/11 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Property was taken from a construction site.

An incident of graffiti occurred in the 5200 block of Nicholson Lane in Kensington overnight between Saturday, 9/14 and Sunday, 9/15.

Arrested: Male, age 55, from Baltimore

Four thefts from vehicles occurred in this Friendship Heights neighborhood. Three incidents occurred during the afternoon/evening hours and one occurred during the overnight hours. Two vehicles were found with forced entry, the other two vehicles had been left unsecured. Cash, laptops, and other small electronics were targeted. Streets affected included: N. Park Avenue, Yorktown Road, S. Park Avenue and Harrison Street.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9200 block of Bardon Road in Bethesda overnight between Wednesday, 9/11 and Thursday, 9/12. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
