A 32,000-square-foot gym is the latest attraction coming to the Pike & Rose development on Rockville Pike.

Sport&Health Club on Monday announced it will open its next location at the intersection of Rockville Pike and Old Georgetown Road in the fall of 2014.

It will be the gym’s 24th area location. It has a gym near downtown Bethesda at 4400 Montgomery Avenue.

The gym will join a 250-seat music venue to be operated by Strathmore, a luxury iPic movie theater and a batch of six restaurants in the first phase of Federal Realty’s 24-acre mixed-use project at Mid-Pike Plaza.

Construction started last year along Old Georgetown Road. The first phase will also include an 18-story, 300-unit apartment building.

Sport&Health CEO and President Mark Fisher said the Pike & Rose location was a “perfect extension of our existing clubs serving the I-270 corridor in Maryland and complements our ongoing growth strategy.”

The gym will include a yoga studio, group cycle studio, elevated outdoor social and training space, a cardio fitness floor and interactive video games for kids.
