Brown Picks Up First Labor Endorsement In Governor’s Race — Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown (D) will pick up an endorsement from the Laborer’s International Union of North America Mid-Atlantic Region today in Baltimore. The group includes workers in building construction, highway construction and environmental remediation. Whitman Student Helps U.S. Basketball Team Win Gold At Maccabiah Games — Josh Fried, a 6-foot-8 rising senior center on the Whitman basketball team, helped the U.S. team go undefeated and win gold at the 19th World Maccabiah Games in Israel.
