Weekly Crime Report: Feb. 25 to March 5

Police say two overnight commercial burglaries on either Wednesday, Feb. 27 or Thursday, Feb. 28 in downtown Bethesda are probably related:

At 7315 Wisconsin Avenue.  Forced entry; property taken.

At 7201 Wisconsin Avenue.  Forced entry; property taken.

Last week, police released surveillance photos of a commercial burglary suspect from January in North Bethesda.

A theft incident occurred in the 7700 block of Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda sometime during the day on Wednesday, 2/27.  The victim’s purse and credit cards were taken.

A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 9400 block of Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda on Wednesday, 2/27 between 5:50 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.  Keys were taken from a gym locker and the keys were then used to search the vehicle.

Five thefts from vehicles occurred this week in two different Bethesda neighborhoods. Incidents all occurred during the overnight hours, primarily overnight from Wednesday, 2/27 to Thursday, 2/28.  Two incidents were reported in the Greenacres neighborhood, and the others occurred in the Cabin John neighborhood.  Vehicles were unlocked and loose items left inside (mostly clothing) were taken.

A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 10800 block of Antigua Terrace, North Bethesda overnight from Friday, 3/1 to Saturday, 3/2.  Forced entry; vehicle parts taken.

A theft incident occurred at Wisconsin Avenue and Bradley Lane, Bethesda on Monday, 3/4 between 8:55 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.  The victim’s cell phone was taken.
