Weekly Crime Report: Jan. 21 to Jan. 29

Police arrested two suspects who they say burglarized a local elementary school on a recent Friday night:

A burglary occurred at Wyngate Elementary School, 9300 Wadsworth Drive, Bethesda on Friday, 1/25 between 9:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.  No forced entry; nothing taken.

Arrested: Male, 18, from Bethesda; Male, 19, from Bethesda.

They are also looking for two suspects who they say assaulted and robbed multiple victims on a Tuesday afternoon in the Georgetown Square shopping center:

A robbery/assault occurred in the 10400 block of Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda on Tuesday, 1/22 at 3:00 p.m.  The suspects assaulted the victims and obtained property.

Suspect: B/M, 15, 5’1”; B/M, 5’10”-5’11”

A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 5800 block of Valerian Lane, Rockville sometime between Monday, 1/21 and Tuesday, 1/22.  Unknown entry; property taken.

A commercial office burglary occurred in 4915 St Elmo Avenue, Bethesda on the morning of Tuesday, 1/22.  No further info at this point.

Theft from vehicle in the 5500 block of Huntington Parkway on Tuesday, 1/22 between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.  A wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Commercial office burglary  at 11921 Rockville Pike.  Overnight from Tuesday, 1/22 to Wednesday, 1/23, entry was gained into the office via unknown means.  Property taken.

Commercial office burglary at 11921 Rockville Pike.  On Wednesday, 1/23 between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., an attempt was made to enter an office suite.  Nothing taken.

Graffiti was painted on a wall and dumpster in the 3700 block of Manor Road, Chevy Chase overnight from Wednesday, 1/23 to Thursday. 1/24.

Theft from vehicle in the 7500 block of Honeywell Lane on Friday, 1/25 at 9:30 p.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at the Woman’s Boutique Consignment, 8118 Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda overnight from Friday, 1/25 to Saturday, 1/26.  Forced entry; property taken.

An aggravated assault occurred in the 10700 block of Shaftsbury Street, Kensington on Saturday, 1/26 at approximately 10:00 a.m.  The suspect is known to the victim.

A burglary occurred at Holton Arms School, 7303 River Road, Bethesda sometime between Saturday, 1/26 and Sunday, 1/27.  Unknown entry; property taken.

Theft from vehicle in the 5500 block of Pembroke Terrace overnight from Sunday, 1/27 to Monday, 1/28.  Forced entry.  A GPS was taken from one car and loose change was taken from another.

A residential burglary occurred in the 5200 block of Hampden Lane, Bethesda on Monday, 1/28 at approximately 7:00 a.m.  Unknown entry; property taken.

Commercial office burglary at 11140 Rockville Pike.  Overnight from Monday, 1/28 to Tuesday, 1/29. Forced entry; property taken.
