NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — James Wisniewski had a goal and assist to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 3-0 preseason victory over the Nashville Predators on Monday night.

Curtis McElhinney made 36 saves in recording the shutout for the Blue Jackets, who improved to 5-1.

Artem Anisimov scored the game’s first goal at 14:04 of the opening period. Wisniewski, who assisted on Anisimov’s goal, doubled the lead at 4:21 of the second, and Jared Boll made it 3-0 at 7:53 of the third.

With the Blue Jackets on a power play, Nick Foligno was behind the Nashville net and found Anisimov in front for an easy tap-in against goalie Pekka Rinne. Foligno had two assists.

Rinne made 24 saves for Nashville, which dropped to 3-2 in the preseason.
