WASHINGTON – Desperately want tickets to a Nationals game, but can’t afford to pay the big bucks?
One local man is giving away his seats for free on Craigslist in honor of his belated father, who died before the two could finish out the season.
“My dad and I bought season tickets this year for the Nationals, Section 310, Row B, Seats 19 and 20. We were lucky enough to make it to the first two innings of opening day this year. However, after a year long battle with cancer, he passed away in June,” the man writes on Craigslist.
He has tickets to eight games in August and September.
