MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Cincinnati Reds have scratched right-hander Mat Latos from his scheduled start at Milwaukee due to a bone bruise in his right elbow.
Daniel Corcino will start Friday night in place of Latos, who is 5-5. Latos spent the first two-plus months of the season on the disabled list with right elbow and left knee injuries.
Corcino is a September call-up who has no record and a 10.13 ERA in two appearances. This will be his first major league start.
